Filmmaker Rory Brosnan was born and raised in
Cork, Ireland.He graduated from University College
Cork in 2000 with a B.A. in English and Spanish
and lived for periods in Spain and New York City
(twice) before moving to Los Angeles in 2001 to
study film at USC.
Rory helped out on the shoot by being Set PA
on a number of days and appearing as Band Member
#2 (a role which, alas, was insufficient to secure
SAG membership). Rory considers his contribution
a modest one and was even surprised to be asked
to supply a bio. “Me? You want a bio from little
old me?” pondered Rory when “director” Nick Heim
beseeched him to do just that.
However when Rory thinks of the highlights of
his career in film so far his work on “The
Greatest Story of All Time” does not
come to mind.
Rory attended film school with “director” Heim
and volunteered not out of friendship - a laughable
notion - but because of the prospect of seducing
Heim’s lovely wife (and producer) Casey. “Not
a foregone conclusion, but I’ll take my chances,”
thought Rory.
Rory considers his time working on “The
Greatest Story of All Time” as time well
spent.
