This is the first credit I have to my name
for costuming, but it's far from the
first time I've made costumes. I have a closet
full of costumes that I've made
for my two daughters as they grew up.
This closet also includes most of their
prom dresses and two wedding dresses (mine and
one of my daughter's). I started
sewing in junior high home ec class. That was
back when home ec taught sewing
and cooking. I excelled at sewing, and we just
won't talk about the cooking
part.
In the last few years I've moved away from the
costuming and into
quilting. I love that my talent for sewing allowed
me to be a part of this
wonderful film.
