Katie Lavery was born and raised in Wilkes-Barre,
Pennsylvania. She earned an undergraduate degree
in Economics from Bucknell University and an MBA
and Masters of Science in Accounting from Northeastern
University.
After obtaining her CPA license in Boston, Katie
moved to New York City to work for Shooting Gallery,
Inc, a small indpendent film production and distribution
company, as their Accounting Director.
After Shooting Gallery was bought out, she worked
for Viacom as an Internal Audit Supervisor. From
their she moved to Los Angeles to work as a Manager
of Motion Picture Finance at Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Looking to get out the office environment Katie
left Sony Pictures to gain some physical production
experience and is now pursuing a career as an
Assistant Director. |
