Ed Gildersleeve really is Buddha.
Just talk to him, you will find out for yourself
how tranquil, peaceful and kind he is. He is gentle
and warm towards all people and small animals
as well. Sometimes, if you sneak up on him, you
can hear him humming or softly singing to himself..."All
we are saying, is give pizza a chance".
We sure are lucky to have Ed, oops, I mean Buddha,
in our film. During the shoot we would see him,
often, by the craft services trailer in a Zen-like
state over the "Chips Ahoy" and Shasta Cola. It
was a sight few would ever forget!
The Buddha is available for tummy rubbings, but
only, as he put it, for a select few.
After wandering through the wilderness, of fear
and loathing in New Jersey, the Buddha took to
the open road...his ship has anchored for a spell
here in L.A. to try his hand, and stomach, in
the film trade.
The future looks bright, especially after he
buffs his head, so stay in touch with his mighty
roundness every chance you get. Peace and Perpetual
Fogness to All.
This bio was written by his publicist, Al Truistik.
The "Buddha" appears courtesy of his mother who
had the guts to raise him and his father who stayed
drunk most of the time.
