After growing up in "the lands below" (The
Netherlands aka Holland), Caspar came to the USA
in 1994.
Thinking that a good way into acting would be
to work in “the industry” he ended up working
in television for almost ten years doing no more
acting than acting-classes. This is probably a
good thing as he gained training and got to make
some of his mistakes in obscurity.
Caspar considers himself an autodidact (yes,
even that word is self-taught) in intellectual
development, music, sports etc. and spends most
of his money on long trips abroad.
After a one year hiatus from The States, moving
around the Middle East, South Africa and Europe,
Caspar was cast as the “Hippy Mailman” in the
upcoming Warner Bros. film “Racing
Stripes” (due out January 14th.
2005) while it was filming in Pietermaritzburg,
South Africa and rekindled his love and passion
for acting.
Since returning to California, Caspar has settled
in in Ojai, where he lives with his fiancé. “The
Greatest Story of all Time” is his
first film back, and now (July) he’s prepping
two roles in two features (one as the 21st. Century
Archangel Michael, and one as the leading man
in a surrealistic film about the extraction of
the subconscious mind).
